In " WAKING DREAM OF A WOMAN" exchange the male social roles for women and vice versa. Puts men in situations that are usually experienced by women. The stark reality of evil treatment and sexism by their husbands or intimate partners.
It is unusual for a woman to imagine or want to abuse your partner but " WAKING DREAM OF A WOMAN" leads to the humorous dimension through imaginative vision.
The contrast of humor with the seriousness of the issue is the fundamental reason that led me to engage and embark on this project.
The turning point of climax rich history and surprises in a story so short but so intense.
We can say that this is a script that fits perfectly with the gear of the film as a genre. Addition the opportunity to bring a new vision, different and dream in this hot field.
In 1998 the Ministry of Social Affairs through the Women's Institute started the campaign "report abuse" starring Azucena De La Fuente, designed to raise awareness of all / as the English about the seriousness of problem. Even beyond frontiers and the advertisement is issued in the United States and Latin America with the story "Blow by blow."
Since then the media echo of articles related to this issue. Campaigns in subsequent years the Ministry has served to strengthen this effort among the population.
This awareness is spreading to literature, music and film. Yet this problem still needs support from everyone. So you have to really insist that there is a change of attitude in interpersonal relationships under pressure.
" WAKING DREAM OF A WOMAN" contribute to this project from a striking point of view, novel, full of wit and irony about domestic violence.

DIRECTOR, WRITER AND PRODUCER
